Sneak Peek - Shop Update

I have been very busy over the last few days designing, carving and printing new greeting cards. This is the new "Congratulations" card in pink and blue to welcome new babies into the world! I will be printing these in more colours so they will be appropriate for any 'congrats' type situations but for now just pink and blue.

The letters are hand stamped because the letters I carefully carved into the design read back to front when printed (I overlooked the first lesson in lino printing, which is anything you carve in will print as a mirror image). I think it looks better now than it would have though, so happy mistake!

Studio update

I've been working on some custom orders for monogram initial artworks. It's nice to know they are going to lovely homes. I have added a few more of these original artworks to my shop! Custom orders are welcome!

Postcards

The postcards I ordered arrived last week! I wanted just a little something extra for my lovely Etsy and Madeit customers, so will be including one of these in all my packages along with a stamped thank you gift tag and hand written note.

I am planning on making an entire alphabet of these. They are a great baby shower gift, but are a bit girly. I have been playing around with ideas for boys. I think they'd look great in a nursery! Now available in the shop.

Shop update

It's been raining pretty relentlessly here so I spent the day block printing and adding new cards to the shop.

Postcard: Taj Mahal, India

This postcard is an original artwork, hand painted, depicting the Taj Mahal, India. The text 'Taj Mahal, India' is handwritten in black ink. The back of the postcard is professionally printed with a postcard template, ready for you to write your message. Just added to the shop!

Another new block print

I think I have a new obsession with red. It contrasts so well with white and black. This is now available in my shop!

Linocut Block print- Red bird

This is the largest block print I've done, well it's only A4 but I'm used to working tiny. I like lots of detail and it is hard to translate my patterns when carving blocks. I have just added this for sale in my shop!

Shop Update!

Individual letter artwork. Ink and gouache on paper. Now added to my etsy shop, it makes a lovely, personalised and very unique gift!
